The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is located in the Seih Al Dahl area of Dubai and is developed on the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model, making it the largest single-site solar park in the world. In DEWA's published account, the park has a planned production capacity of 5,000 MW by 2030, with total investments of about AED 50 billion, and will reduce more than 6.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually once completed.
The park is built in phases, each delivered by a separate project company, and its internal roads carry equipment transport, construction traffic and operations and maintenance vehicles. With the park under continued expansion, rectifying damaged main roads is a supporting works package that maintains site access and operating order, and this tender covers that work.
