02Project Background

Morocco is one of North Africa's fastest-growing wind markets, targeting 52% of installed power capacity from renewables by 2030. The site lies in the northern coastal mountains with annual average wind speeds above 8.5 m/s, offering strong capacity factors.

Wind measurement (no fewer than 24 months of data), land acquisition and the grid connection framework agreement are complete. The employer uses pre-qualification to select contractors capable of complex-terrain erection and local content delivery.
